Handy in a pinch Nov 21, 2009 It doesn't replace the air hose at the gas station but it works fine for filling up a tire if you have a little time.

Broke in my car on first use Sep 21, 2009 I used it the first time yesterday. The plug literally came apart INSIDE my 12V outlet. I had to use a pair of pliers to remove pieces of it. But there's a good chunk of it still lodged inside my 12V outlet that I can't get out. Now I can't plug my nav system in, this piece of junk is broken, and I'm probably going to have to spend $100 dollars to have the mechanic dislodge the bit of plastic and repair my outlet. I would, at the least, like my money back but I purchased it more than thirty days ago.

bad quality cable Aug 11, 2009 I got the item in mail as promised... I tried testing it and it worked great... But when i tried pulling the cable out of the car it would not come out... the plastic plug broke apart and I had to use screw driver to break rest of the plug to remove it... good air compressor but horrible assembly on the cable... i would not recommend this to anyone!

Piece of junk May 01, 2009 Compressor fails to inflate tire. The air is being directed out of the "raft inflator" outlet with no discernable way to redirect the outflow. The directions are worthless and there is no indication of who the real manufacturer is. I called AAA at the number on the enclosed marketing piece and they are clueless, too. Amazon's return policy only allows returns within the first 30 days, but I didn't try using this until 15 days later, so I will pay the postage and a 15-20% restocking fee.

LOUD, slow, LOUD and did I mention LOUD! Apr 25, 2009 I live in a dense urban city. I had a flat car tire in the morning before work and busted out the handy compressor. This thing was so loud I'm certain I was annoying the neighbors.
To make matters worse - it was slow as molasses, so the loudness had to go on for nearly 10 minutes just to get my tire to 18psi !!!
It was so embarrassing that I had just shut it off at 18 and finish it up at a gas station.
2 stars because it does work... but it is slow and very loud.
