Amazon should ship what the item description describes! Sep 06, 2009

When the stainless steel brads were originally ordered the Amazon description said "1 case contains 10 boxes of 1,000 each" and the list was stated as being $99.98 w/ the Amazon price of $49.99 (stated savings of 50%). Since I found same item that Amazon shipped at www.floydtool.com/stain_nail.htm for $110.00 I thought Amazon's price made sense since 50% off floydtool's price would be on par w/ Amazon's stated price of $49.99. They have subsequently changed the web page removing the list price and the stated savings. If 1000 nails for a pneumatic nail gun cost $50 that would mean each 16 gauge brad would be 5 cents! Even for stainless this price is crazy. Amazon should ship me what they had advertised which is 10,000 for $49.99 or refund my money. But to change the web page after my order and then try to hold me to those terms is just dishonest.
http://www.bestmaterials.com/detail.aspx?ID=15441 exact same product priced at 10,000 for $136 www.floydtool.com/stain_nail.htm exact same product priced at 10,000 for $110 http://thefastenercompany.com/16_gauge_brads.htm different mfg but similar product priced at 2,500 for 13.99 which works out to be 10,000 for $56 At $50 per 1,000 Amazon's price for 10,000 would be a whopping $500!!!!!
Amazon should be ashamed of changing an item's description after an order has been made and then not honoring the original terms.

I have a dewalt 16 gauge brad nailer, we'll see how they work tonight. I only gave it a 3 because there's such limited information on exactly what you are buying, the type of stainless, etc. If they work flawlessly tonight, I'll probably push it up to a 5. The seller really should put up a picture of exactly what you're buying.
Nov 8, 2011 - The beadboard ceiling went up flawlessly - no jams, no problems - the brads work great in my Dewalt nailer. Will buy more from these guys when I run out.
