4smoothest pencil I've owned  May 07, 2011 By magsterone
Nice purchase for the money. I'm machinist and I rely heavily on a pencil die grinder to finish 4150 steel parts. The Astro Pneumatic is smoother running than either the Sioux or Enco ones I've owned (and wore out) in the past. This would be a great choise for the hobbyist. Hopefully this tool will last. I'm reluctant to spend the bucks on a Dynabrade...

5pencil grinder  Mar 28, 2011 By weeble
This grinder is great for the money. I had a more expensive brand grinder die that I replaced with this one. It runs smooth, has a high enough rpm, and plenty of power. I mainly use it for smoothing welds on interior corners where a regular grinder won't get to.

4So Far So Great  Dec 05, 2010 By L. Kovar
As in the industry I am in we use this tool daily and the company stopped providing them, I first purchase a cheaper pencil grinder. When that one wore out I decided to upgrade some and bought the Astro Pneumatic 218 1/8-Inch Pencil Type Die Grinder, 56,000rpm. The difference is night and day more power less vibration so far impressed...... now we will see how long it lasts.

1taylor pneumatic pencildie grinder  Dec 22, 2008 By Gregory H. Bishop "CAT MAN"
I WAS FRUSTRATED TO FIND THAT THE 1/8in.TAYLOR MADE PENCIL TYPE DIE GRINDER I ORDERED THROUGH AMAZON.COM CAME WITH THE WRONG COLLET WHICH WAS A 3MM COLLET INSTEAD OF THE 1/8in. COLLET.
