Sturdy Consistent Nailer Jun 22, 2009
By D. Getz I got this nail gun together with the 18 Ga nail gun for an exterior trim project. This gun has the sturdier gauge nails, but I was not as impressed with the convenience of the loading mechanism. Additionally when it got down to about 5 nails it would no longer shoot as the spring mechanism that pressed the nails forward (think like a desk stapler) would slightly tilt the nails. It didn't jamb, but you would have to load additional nails to keep going. Both products have their place and this is still an excellent quality nail gun, I would recommend it for exterior trim work or heavier interior work.

Nice nailer May 16, 2011
By Valkyrie Rider

My old nailer finally bit the dust, so I opted for this one. I was a bit sceptical on the "oil less" but tried it any way. Seems to work just fine, no jams and drives just the way you would want it to. I'm not a heavy user, but use it a few times a month, so can't say how it would be in everyday use.

Works Great! Oct 12, 2011
By Dave This is a great tool. Very light-weight. I just put baseboards on with it and it made it so much easier. Another thing I like is that it doesn't require oil.
Absolute piece of junk Apr 13, 2012
By Brian D Palmer Just 10 minutes into using this gun the trigger mechanism stopped working correctly. Set the tip, pull the trigger and all that happened was air would come out but no drive pin activation. Ok, thought it might have a jam but no, could not see anything apparently wrong. After fiddling with the tip set spring/trigger activation and unloading and reloading the nails it would work again although I can't say why. After a bit more use, same problem. So now I tried tearing down a bit further but still could not see anything particularly wrong. However now the head leaked air past the gasket and I could not get it to stop no matter what. Add to this the loading mechanism is awkward at best and this makes this nail gun a complete waste of money and a huge aggravation to deal with.
The handle bar leaks air 80% of the time Feb 07, 2012
By J. Arnoldus Light weight and reliable. Held out well for a month-long project.
The problem is the handlebar swivel connector was leaking from day 1 and has never stopped. Even when the compressor is turned off it still leaks. All of a sudden it would stop, then start leaking again.
It doesn't hurt performance much but is causing the compressor to be running more often than necessary.
I've completed my project and it's now in the service shop for 2 weeks.
