3Cepia sprayer ok, but wore out fast  May 17, 2009 By E. Jones "musiclover75"
The cepia sprayer is a wonderful idea and as long as it keeps going it worked as advertised. However of the four I bought in 2008, two stopped working altogether before the season ended, having nothing to do with worn out batteries. I contacted the company and they came up with several ideas, but they were of no help.

4i love it  May 06, 2009 By D. martin "christian"
this has been a life saver for me. As an older woman, with 4 acres of stuff needing sprayed, this has worked great for me. I just could not handle all the pumping needed for the other types. My only objection is that it can eat thru batteries. I use the expensive batteries and they work much better (push it out with more force too).

4Works fine, superior function  Jun 07, 2009 By James P. Starks
Are you tired of squeezing those little hand pumps that come with bug spray? Then this is for you. Four aa batteries produce a strong and steady stream for dispensing products like Home Defense Max around your house. The only improvement I would suggest is the hose. In hot weather, the hose has a tendency to collapse where it leaves the container, restricting flow. On balance, though, this is a neat piece of equipment.

4Pump Sprayer  Jun 29, 2010 By Richard
I had bought a similar pump/spray a couple of years ago and been impressed with the performance. The unit I bought was no longer on the market, so I started to look and found this, a similar unit, being sold at Amazon. It works very well for the point and shoot type of weed control I was looking for. If you need this type of spraying, I highly recommend it. I use one for Round up and another one for Weed B Gone type products. Later, I will use the third one for insect control. This is not for broad general coverage like a general purpose lawn sprayer, but it is very good for small target spraying.

3CEPIA MOTORIZED SPRAYER  Jul 13, 2009 By Don W
I bought one last year and it worked fine - used it for spraying Round-up. It was a vast improvement over the pump mechanism that comes with the Round-up container. When I took it out this year, it would not work. I took it apart and tried to clean it with water. It eventually started to work again but then stopped once more and I could not get it to work again. I assume it's made in China as the construction and components are cheap. Still, it worked well while it worked. I used to work for a carpet cleaner manufacturer and we had the same problem with carpet cleaners when they were left to dry after use and not flushed with fresh water. If the cleaner's pumping mechanism was not flushed with fresh water after each use, the soap solution would dry and act like glue on the neoprene valves, sealing them shut. I suspect the same is true with this sprayer. It should be flushed with fresh water after each use in order to keep the small valve parts and rubber components free from spray effluents, e.g., Round-up, etc., that probably seize the valves when left to dry inside the sprayer mechanism.
