Heavy but works great! Sep 08, 2011
By BobbyCA I decided to try a coil nailer this time instead of another stick nailer... I liked the compact design and the fact that in can hold up to 300 nails... This thing is a work horse... Although the dead weight is only ounces more than the typical stick nailer, it feels heavy (too the point I start holding it with two hands after a while of vertical nailing)... Perhaps due to its compact design... Not enough to turn me away though... I love not having to make sure I have nails near by when framing... This thing holds a ton... Very easy to load and adjust to different nails sizes... I think I've seen the last of my stick nailer usage... More expensive, but well worth it... Hopefully the next generation of these coil nailers will loose a few pounds...
