Bostitch tools are of high quality Jul 09, 2010 Bostitch tools have always been made to high standareds. Even though I haven't used the nailer yet, I know it will preform as I expect it to.
payed for itself quickly Jun 17, 2010 I don't do enough roofing to make the cost of a new roofing nailer sensible. This gun fit the bill. It worked fine and allowed me to roof a shed that was too small to have the pros do. My only issue was that it has a very sensitive trigger that took some getting used to. It would double fire regularly until we got the feel for the trigger. Glad to have it in my quiver.
Works great, perfect for the DIY roofer Jun 10, 2010 I bought this for my Dad from CPO Bostitch, and we fired it up a couple of weekends ago. It works great, it does need about 100 PSI to function optimally. The round housing was fairly scuffed, more so than I would have thought, so that is the only real reason for 4 stars. If you need a solid roofing nailer for the occasional project, this should do just fine.
Roofing nail gun, Bostitch May 24, 2010 Love the product, knew it was used or reconditioned so I expected the wear that was on it. It worked perfectly and saved a lot of labor.
The product itself is amazing, but my reconditioned gun did not function. May 07, 2010 The title just about says it all. I received my reconditioned Bostitch RN46 and tried it out the same day. Sadly it did not fire at all. My guess is that there was something wrong with the firing mechanism. I had this exchanged through a third party and the new gun was amazing. With four guys and one gun we couldn't lay the shingles as fast and the gun could nail them down. I will never roof without a nail gun again. -If- the gun works this is a great deal at $135.
