Perfect from a DIYer's point of view Jun 13, 2008
By J. Stack I bought a couple Senco nailers about five years ago when I decided to build a storage building on my property. I have used the nailers for countless projects since. Quite simply, I could not possibly be happier. The price was excellent compared to other options, and it has worked flawlessly from day one. They are solidly built. I have dropped them from heights, kicked them around, etc.

Consistently requires repair... Nov 19, 2010
By Jesse L. Bucholtz This nailgun has been the most frustrating investment for me. It consistently requires maintenance. First off, the gun only has 2000 nails through it. The air port remains covered when not in use, gets it's daily oil, and never been dropped. First, the hammer would not return, requiring me to push it back with a screwdriver. I took the gun apart and cleaned it, which seemed to fix the issue. Next, the spring on the magazine broke. So I took the magazine apart and repaired the spring. Next, the hammer was sticking again, took it apart again and found parts of a gasket gumming up the valve. The final straw was yesterday when the gun wouldn't fire. It would just vent from the trigger valve. Now, the gun has been dropped...hard...into the trash. I spend more time fixing it than using it. I'm a senco guy, but having to pay to send the gun and return shipping for warranty work is ridiculous.

Good nailer May 05, 2010
By Fred Weston I bought one of these about two years ago and have been very happy with it. It functions well and the nails are easy to find. Both Lowes and Home Depot carry the nails, so you don't have to worry about running out mid-project. The only complaint I have is that it does seem a bit heavy. It's not really an issue for me since I only use it occasionally, but if I were going to be using it on a regular basis, I'd check into the alternatives to see if I could find a lighter one.

Dependable Jul 20, 2010
By David C. Delany It works... every time. It punches all the nails appropriately and dependably, and feels comfortable in the hand. At the end of the day it gets a few drops of oil and that's the end of the maintenance. Exactly what a tool should be and do.

Seems fine Aug 13, 2008
By Michael J. Gillean I have had good luck w/ factory reconditioned tools from Amazon, and this seems to be no exception. It was very clean with no obvious use. I don't know much about nail guns, but Senco is a top name, and it works as I would expect in the short time I have used it. My local Home center wants well over $200 for a new one. However, as with other reman tools, there is only a 1 year warranty instead of 3 years with a new tool, plus no case.
