Preferred pins Mar 26, 2008

I own the Porter Cable 23ga pin nailer and using the cheaper pins bought at the "Freight store down by the Harbor", I had a lot of jamming issues. The pinner is a great gun, but once I bought these pins, I never again had a problems with jamming and bent pins. If you are going to spend the money on a pinner then invest the extra couple of bucks on some pins that will make your project look good....

I needed to attach trim pieces to furniture being built and did not want a bunch of big holes or split trim. The pins worked perfectly. No misfires, jams or irritations. They were fired through a Hitachi gun.

We install cabinets almost every day and our Grex pin nailer is a great tool. The pin nails always go in clean and all the way.I only use the grex brand pins because I know they work. I don't know about oyher brands.

Well box cover is kind of lose and if you aren't careful, all the nails might fall out....
Nails are fine and work as expected.
