5It's a HITACHI  Feb 27, 2006 By olajoe
This gun is awesome. It's fast, lightweight, and the bump mode let's you move right along without having to wait. The gun also responds well to the pressure regulator, no need for a depth gauge here. If you're concerned more about safety and want sequential fire this has that option w/turn of a ring. If I need another nail gun, this will be it.

5Awesome Gun  Jul 18, 2011 By jimhann824
I love this gun. I used to build houses as a part time job and this was the only gun the crew ever used. Over eight years, I never saw one break (a couple of jambs here or there, but those are easily fixable.) We dropped this things from high up, used them instead of a sledge to hammer walls, etc. -- they took a beating day in day out and never failed. I am happy to say that I am now the proud owner of my own Hitachi nail gun and it is living up to all my expectations. I would never get a different gun. To me, it is worth paying a few extra dollars if you have to to get this over a Pasload or a Bostich for a proven framing gun.

4Powerful versatile tool  Jun 26, 2007 By M. Terman
I asked my contractor friend what framing nailer I should get. This was the one he mentioned. It is a powerful versatile tool. I have used it for deck work and wall framing. I like the adjustable safety options. For a framing novice it let me set it on full safety. At the same time it leaves options open as my skills advance.

5Heavy duty  Jan 03, 2009 By Nancy E. Turner "nancyeturner1@yahoo.com"
My husband has used this for three weeks, every day, all day. So far, it's just great, but it takes a strong person to weild it well. He's building a cabin single-handedly, and it saves many hammer-strokes. The only negative about this or any nail gun is that unlike a hand-held hammer hitting metal, you can't feel whether the nail struck a joist on the other side or just air -- an air shot feels just like a good nail. That's my job - spotter on the inside watching for misses...
