great sander Feb 05, 2010

These sanders are the best value in my opinion. The ergonomics are good whereas some of the cheaper ones on the market are awkward to hang on to. Don't buy a $30.00 or $40.00 sander, spend a little more on this one and you'll be happy. (I've been using this brand for 30 years and I'm just on my second one though I used a couple of the cheaper ones along the way.)

Ingersoll Rand 315 Heavy Duty Air Twin Piston Straight Line Sander - 2-3/4-Inch x 17-1/2-Inch Pad Oct 25, 2009
By Citroen Bought this sander about 6 months ago to work on a car restoration project. I've used the unit for about 15-20 hours now to smooth light applications of body filler, and have been very happy with it. It is comfortable to use, and has worked flawlessly. I have a 7 hp compressor that only runs minimally while using the unit. I'd recommend this unit for anyone who has similar work to do.
In line sander Aug 05, 2011
By Steven E. Tower This Ingersoll Rand sander is a professional quality tool and came at a very low price. A tough combination to beat. It is easy to use, durable and looks good too.

It does what it is supposed to do! Jun 10, 2010
By C. L. Dunlap This sander is a definite requirement in anybody's body shop, pro or novice. As the latter, it helped me shape the filler to the gentle contour of a door panel that I would have never gotten with the hand sanding board I was using. For the price, it's invaluable! A great addition for anyone's toolbox.

Good Sander Jan 20, 2009
By one tider Bought to help restore and old chevy truck. Works very good but I am not a professional body man so it is being used lightly and only by me but so far works great.
