Excellent, all weather hose Feb 23, 2011
By chevling We use this hose to provide mandated "free air" at gas stations. I have found this hose to outlast all other other hoses. They do not crack or break in the extreme cold we have seen this year. The fittings are well made and have already outlasted similar rubber hoses. The plastic grip on the end also seems to extend the hose life, as customers are now grabbing this instead of the actual hose. We put our hoses in a very demanding environment, they are outside 24/7 and constantly being ran over by cars. We haven't had to replace a hose since we started using these green hoses!

ok, not great, but ok Jul 13, 2010
By Jim Butler I had pretty high hopes when I purchased this hose. My old hose was the old, cheap, orange type that typically comes with the off brand compressors and I was tired of trying to coil it up so I bought this pretty much based on the reviews. I does work...sort of. Not as well as I had expected, or hoped though. I was hoping it would either be easy to coil or simply lay flat. It does both, but not real well. Granted, better than my previous orange hose, but not as well as I thought this fairly expensive replacement would do.

Best air hose ever! Nov 18, 2009
By Hose Expert this hose is the best - very flexible, even when cold. PU may be lighter, but it likes to stay coiled up and you have to fight with it! This hose just lays flat where you want it. cool color too - probably won't be tripping over this one!

Don't do it, degrades air tool performance May 12, 2012
By Kelly and Mike P I purchased this assuming soft workable tubing and longevity. Both are true!
HOWEVER, it degrades airtool performance substantially as it does not permit the same amount of airflow as a conventional hose; i.e. there is a higher percentage of pressure loss at high airflow levels than with a standard rubber hose. I did a back to back comparison of a normal rubber hose vs this hose, and this hose performed substantially worse. Both were 3/8" ID. The loss is so high I cannot use a standard air impact wrench, it looses to much head pressure during use for proper tool function.
If you are using this hose to only pump up tires it will be fine, but if you are using any air tools I strongly recommend agaist purchasing.
I am returning mine for a standard Goodyear rubber hose.

Measures up to the hype. Dec 04, 2011
By T. Horton I have had a 50' rubber air hose for 10 years that my 9 month old lab pups decided would make a wonderful chew toy recently and left me in need of a new air hose. Living in Illinois, I needed something that would remain usable in the cold winter months and found the Flexzilla Air Hose. I read the reviews and have found it to perform perfectly so far in 20 degree temps around the farm. With much colder temps coming up I plan on putting it to the test, and will update should it fail. But so far I am very impressed and happy with my purchase. Much lighter then the rubber air hose and very flexible. Way to go Legacy.
