Hopper Gun 693 Sharpshooter I Nov 10, 2010
By scott I must say that this was a great investment. Was hesitant on buying something with little reviews on it, but went ahead and ordered the Marshalltown 693 SharpShooter I Hopper Gun with 45 degree Angle adapter. I used it on my garage and worked great. Easy to handle and use with plenty of different size nozzles. Only thing i didn't like was the mess from the splatter when spraying but should be expected. Also easy cleanup of product and would recommend product to whoever is planning on texturing walls in their house or garage.

Marshalltown 693 SharpShooter I Hopper Gun Sep 28, 2010
By Richard Ouk I purchased this Marshall town693 Sharpshooter1 Hopper Gun from Amazon Store on 08/24/2010. I received my shipment early and was able to finished our ceiling spray within a short time. We like the result and ceiling looked great, but first spray on a sample card board boxes several times until you know which one you like and then go for it. I would recommend this to anyone.

professional results with ease Oct 03, 2011
By J. York I bought this to apply an orange peel texture to a drywall repair. I watched a youtube video on how to mix the joint compound, followed the instructions in the box, and did a trial run on some scrap material. Once I got the mixture right, I brought this and my pancake compressor inside and in about 3 seconds I made my repair disappear with a perfect match to my home's orange peel texture. My wife was amazed that I managed to pull of a repair like this. After painting, nobody could possibly tell that I had done any work on this particular wall.
Having spent over $800 (combined) on two recent drywall repairs, I'll now be savings hundreds of dollars every time I use this thing.
Highly recommended!

Works! Sep 28, 2011
By James E. Bunner, Jr. Planned on upgrading my Master Bath and Bedroom this summer. Like so many projects it started off as a small job and grew as I went on. Ultimately...stripped all the rock off the walls, re-wired, upgraded the plumbing, new energy efficient windows, doors, etc. I am retired...that means I have time, but, not a lot of $$. I cannot afford to hire out most of the work. This texture device was great. Practiced on scrap drywall for a bit to get the consistency and pattern I was looking for then I shot each room (and ceiling) separately. Only took about an hour for each room (and 1 1/2 buckets of mud for both). The results are pro-quality. Easy to clean up after use (just washes out - all industrial nylon and plastic - no rusting). I used the 18" Marshalltown Knockdown Trowel (also reviewed) and life is good. Three months (and a lot of sweat equity) later we have a nice, modern Master Bath and Bedroom. Wonder what kind of trouble I can get into next Summer??
