Nice - just plain nice Nov 15, 2007

These are fine tools. The compressor is so quiet, compared to all other compressors. I can use it in the house with my dogs around and they do not care. The nailers are sturdy and well balanced. I have used the tools mainly for moulding and small projects. I am glad I purchased this kit. The only downside is the weight. The compressor, 50 ft of hose, and a nailer add up to 40 - 43 pounds. That sounds lite until you have to drag it from the shed, across the yard, upstairs, etc. three or four times.

Great compressor...bad packaging and shipping from AMAZON Dec 22, 2009
By Gustav Beck Muller Compressor is nice and quiet, but came DAMAGED in shipping. The plastic engine cover was cracked, which made the compressor much louder than it should be. I filed a claim with UPS, they sent to Amazon, and they refused to sign the paperwork. Amazon did offer a replacement, but the boxes were so damaged that I had no way to get it back to them. Plus it seemed stupid to send it back just for a $23 plastic part that I could easily replace. Other reviewers have had the same problem with the shipping, so BUYER BEWARE. The item is large and heavy, and if you have to send it back it will be a huge pain. I decided to just order the broken part myself through Makita. It cost me some money, but it wasn't worth it to me to deal with returning to Amazon. On a side note, the guy I spoke to from Amazon had to be from a different country and didn't understand at all what I was trying to explain to him, so I just gave up.
