5Exceptional Framing nailer  Feb 14, 2010 By J. A. Schmitt
I've had strictly used only Hitachi framing guns, they are the only brand I found that will continue to bump fire nails after years of use and abuse. The Paslode and Bostitch guns I've owned stopped bump firing consistently as they aged. I decided to try the Max framer because it is both lighter and shorter than my beloved Hitachi NR83. It functions as well as the Hitachi, since it is lighter and shorter, I prefer the Max. The gun comes with a little cam in the trigger that you have to remove before it will bump fire. This feature must be the corporate lawyer's contribution to protect them from a law suit. I recommend this gun to any framing professional who is looking for a smaller, lighter framer that functions as well as a Hitachi.

This is our 8th gun like this. We use these in a factory enviroment and they hold up extremly well. I would reccomend this gun to anyone. It has good balance and great power.

5SuperFramer  Feb 25, 2012 By 23fission
Love this nailer. I usually use Hitachi for my framers but the Max is my new framer. Light and able to sink a nail. Good product, very happy
