Normal manual pump sprayers can be agonizing to use for those suffering from Arthritis or Carpal Tunnel. Even those in the best shape can still find all the pumping exhausting. This battery powered sprayer eliminates strain and saves you plenty of time. The one touch trigger requires very little force to operate. The uses are numerous since the cap fits most size gallon jugs and bottles. Great for spraying insect repellent, fertilizer, or even household cleaners. You could even use it to water your plants. The no-drip adjustable nozzle can shoot a continuous stream up to 14 feet, or a gentle spray. Requires 4 AA batteries

4Very handy garden gadget  Jun 08, 2007 By A. Dobrynin
This battery powered sprayer head doesn't take the place of a full size chemical sprayer, but it is very good for small jobs, and is very convenient. It pumps very well and its nozzle adjusts for various types of sprays. I've pumped a couple gallons through it so far, and the batteries are still going strong. If you have small job use for a chemical sprayer, I highly recommend this power sprayer head.

2Poorly made  Jul 07, 2010 By Pony
These are poorly made, they clog up after a little use. You can strip them down and remove the one way valve to get them working again, not what most people would want to have to do. I use them with Home Defense bug spray, which is not particularly sticky.
I have 6 and all did this. I opened then up and removed the valve and simply replaced it with a straight through connector from a drip irrigation kit.
Unless you are wiling to do this then avoid them.
You may think the battery has simple gone low or the motor broken, but its that valve that restricts the flow of liquid.
A great idea, but poorly executed.

4Not just for bug spray  Jul 26, 2010 By K. M. Herbert
I bought this handy little sprayer for using household cleaners. I have carpal tunnel and after a day of cleaning windows, wiping cabinets and such, my wrists and arms are in agony. I saw the 'automatic' sprayers for shower cleaners recently on the shelves in stores and wondered why they didn't have anything like that for glass cleaner or general purpose cleaners. I know that the typical bathroom mirror doesn't need a power sprayer, but glass french doors/patio doors definitely can use one! Not to mention the inside of windows and the outside of the fridge. This sprayer is wonderful because you don't need to push the trigger back as far as the Windex bottle and it doesn't take a lot of pressure either.

I've also used this sprayer to cover and soak my dinning room carpet with an enzyme spray where our elderly cat had an accident during a kidney infection. Sitting there with the normal trigger pump trying to saturate the carpet fiber is painful after a while. Not with this handy little sprayer, I was able to get a nice even spray going and covered the area thoroughly without having to resort to dumping the product on the carpet and potentially having it soak through to the floorboards.

1NO HAND PUMP POWER SPRAYER  Oct 26, 2009 By Keivn L. Rasmussen
I love these battery operated power sprayers. NO MORE hand fagiue and the job gets done much fast with this product.

UP DATE ON THESE HAND-HELD POWER PUMP SPRAYERS: I purchased two of these hopeing that they would last as long as my original power pump sprayer but the first one crapped out at the end of the weed season last year only afrer 45 days old and it just stopped pumping. At the begining of this year I placed the other sprayer on the gallon of weed killer and it was not five dayS starting to spray the back yard and it quit pumping like the other one. I don't know what they did to these since I bought my original one at Home Depot five years ago but they are not worth the money you spend on them now.

3Sprayer  Oct 15, 2008 By Wilbur "Wilbur"
The idea is great and the sprayers work for a short period of time but they are always breaking and have to be replaced after 2 or 3 uses.
