Lasted for 2 squares Jun 10, 2010 Had a roofing job coming up so I read reviews and ordered the nailer for 2nd day delivery. Arrived on time in good shape. We got 2 squares of shingles down and the nailer shot a nail right through the feed ramp rendering the tool useless. Finished the job (27 square)with a Bostich RN46-1.
Advice - Spend the extra on a professional tool
Hats off to Amazon they promptly refunded my money plus shipping both ways - Thanks
Good Price, Decent Tool Apr 01, 2010 Half-way through a 34 square job on my house, my old gun died. Faced with a two week wait and fifty bucks in repairs I chose to seek out a cheap gun to finish the job. The Ramsond arrived very quickly. It worked OK. If you are going to make a living roofing, I would say spend more money and get a contractor grade tool. The Ramsond worked fine. If you are looking for a gun to do a one or two roofs per year, this gun will suffice.

Best budget roofing nailer Feb 12, 2010 First off, the shipping was super fast. I ordered it on Sunday and got it on Thursday, from Michigan to Oklahoma. Not bad for standard ground shipping. The instructions were very easy to understand and follow. The nailer itself seems to be extremely high quality for a Chinese import. The gun has a nice paint job with the logos being stickers. (note to Ramsond, get your manufacturer to paint the logo on) After loading some nails and putting a few drops of oil into the air inlet, I set the trigger to "bump" mode and tested it out. After playing "machine gun" on a 2X4 for a while, not one misfire and all of the nails were driven at a consistent depth. Long story short, I'm sold on Ramsond. They have a line of framing nailers available on their website which I intend to buy next.
Update: Went through half a box of nails (3600) without a jam. Works perfectly.

Professional Quality Nov 01, 2009 I own and use just about every kind and brand of air nailer for a remodeling business. This roofing nailer ranks with the brand name tools at half the price. I installed asphalt shingles for 3 days without encountering a single jam. It comes with quality plastic case and adequate instructions.

Decent Nailer for the price Sep 24, 2009 I,m a Diyer, so it was time to re-roof the house. I searched Amazon for a roofing nailer and came across this one. It had good reviews, so I purchased it. The shipping was great I received it within 2 days. The nailer is well worth the price but since this is the first roofing nailer I've bought I really have nothing to compare it to. At first it did seem to jam too much but once I figured out the tricks of keeping it going, it runs very well. I'am very happy with this tool and would recommend it for Diyers.
