The Jam Master Jul 08, 2010
By M. Baker First I would like to say I absolutely love Ridgid tools. I have been buying/using them for 30 years when they only made plumbing tools. This is the first Ridgid neumatic nailer I have bought. Maybe I just got a bad one but this thing would make a better hammer to drive finish nails than to use it correctly. This thing jams within every 5 pulls of the trigger sometimes twice in a row! It got so bad I started saving the 2 1/2 nails in a baggie and now it's almost full! Before you think it's "this or that" I tried every pressure setting, hose/coupler size combination and of course oiled it per the manual.
Not only does it jam but it has a quick release "nose" where supposedly you open and just pull out the nail; Wrong!
You have to use a "vice-grip" locked onto the nail to pull it out! I have a Bostich 18g and I can't remember it jamming on me.
The worst part is the life time warranty, I e-mailed Ridgid and they won't even respond!! I seriously am thinking of switching brand loyalty over to Milwaukee!

Good gun Dec 14, 2010
By J. French I bought this gun 2 years ago when I replaced all my tools, it was cheaper. I have a home improvement company and do alot of trim work. This gun works as good if not better than the hitachi or senco I used for years. Bought a dewalt it shoots half the time. This gun shoot fine through any material. Most my trim guns are ridgid. The best 15 gauge I have owned.
Just what I needed Aug 09, 2011
By Penfield This finish nailer is great. Light weight, easy to use and works perfectly. The only problem I have had is finding nails for this gun in small quantities. Lowes and all the major hardware stores want to sell you a package of thousands of nails. I only needed hundreds in various lengths. Fortunately I found a nail supplier on the internet that sold a variety pack of nails which fit my needs.
