"Plastic please..." Aug 23, 2010

An important thing to know about this gun, which is not mentioned in the description, is that it is made almost entirely of plastic. The only metal is in the nose area. Though I've only had this for a couple weeks on the job, I can't see it holding up to the riggers of demanding construction. The canister door, in particular, is flimsy.
As for performance, so far it works "OK". Its light weight makes for recoil and when depth adjustment is set light, it makes an indent in the material (not sure why). If I had a second chance, I would not buy this nailer.
