By Paul I have used this quite a few times with carbide burrs and diamond wheels for graphite and fiberglass. The speed adjustment works smoothly and i have no complaints.I would purchase it again.

By Toolmaker Dave I've had less expensive pencil grinders that didn't hold up to heavy use like this one has. Less expensive than Dotco, but every bit as good, in my opinion. Shop around online for a good price, though. You can find these for well under $100 with a little effort. This is a good tool. If mine ever wears out, I'd buy another one just like it.
