I wasn't particularly happy with the utility hook. I thought it would fit snugly to the mounting bracket, but it doesn't. It's pretty loose. Also, the cover plate (the white plastic cover over the mounting holes and release lever) is difficult to keep in place. Mine kept popping out. The cover is decorative, not functional, but it should stay in place and it doesn't. All that said, the hook is substantial, and, especially when mounted to a stud, will carry a lot of weight.
